HyperFlex HX240c-M4SX configuration questions

I have inherited the management of a lab HX240c-M4SX system that needs to be upgraded to support ESXi 6.7. the firmware code version is 2.0(f) and I do know that an intermediate upgrade to 3.0 is needed before going to 3.5 and upgrade ESXi to 6.7.  the question that I have is on the tools such as HXConnect and HXtools.py from GitHub. When I login to HXConnect  on one of the platform CVM, it fails to connect to any appliance and reports "get Appliance failed" I have also tried the shell script getLocalNode.sh and it does not return any ESXi IP it reports ESXi IP=None. I have followed the script code to see what config file it looks at and all that is that file are the platform CVM IP addresses. The getLocalNode.sh is supposed to return the ESXi IP.  Note-- I am not the one that originally setup the system which was 4 years ago and do not have a lot knowledge of the HyperFlex but have Nutanix background.  What is missing and how do I resolve this?

Thanks

Dave

If the health checker script is getting errors, then I'd say there are health issues with the cluster.

If you are running unsupported 2.0 code, then it could be any number of things.

I would open a TAC case to see if the cluster can be brought into a healthy state to facilitate upgrading...
