I have a question about GSS

syjeon
Level 1
Level 1

I must install two gss on active/standby mode

First, I enable one GSS to primary gssm, like below

#gss enable gssm-primary

and then I enable the other gss to secondary gssm like below

#gss enable gssm-standby (gssm-primary'ip)

In the configuration, Is it a correct?

and How can I cabling each other?

Must it be in same sagment to establish active/standby mode?

Or, don't care when gss can communication

each other?

in the dns server, How can I setup ip address?

dns must look at two ip(active gss, standby gss)? or only active gss?

thank for your reply.

Hi syejeon,

GSS's can be in different networks and there should be communication between the GSS's.

In the interface configuration - you need to define "gss-communications".

Check the link for the GSS-DNS configuration
