LISP mobility ESM multihop hardware support

Hi,

My current environment has only N7K with F2e card. Can it support LISP mobility ESM multihop ?

The N7K will only be doing detection of VM move and not LISP encapsulation.

Do i need to purchase a M2-card to support LISP mobility ESM multihop for VM move detection?

Hello Eng Wee,

Yes, you can use the F2e cards for LISP host detection only as long as the LISP encapsulation is taking place on another device that does support LISP encapsulation.
