We have a problem with multicast traffic over OTV (data plane).
There is multicast source on site A in VLAN 10, also there're a few multicast receivers in the same vlan on site B.
VLAN is stretched between sites with OTV.
So I've configured IGMP querier on site B in order to force receivers generate IGMP reports. And I can see proper routing information in "show otv mroute" output on OTV edge device on site A.
The problem is IGMP reports are not transferred via overlay, so switches on site A (as well as multicast source) are unaware there are receivers in the VLAN for a particular group.
Particulary, IGMP snooping table on site A switches has no entries with ports towards OTV edge.
Is there some workaround for this kind of issue?
The guides are implying multicast source is emanating traffic regardless of listener presence, which is not true for our situation.
