I'm not sure this relationship is as easy as it sounds. I have a 2248TP connecting on uplinks 3&4 to two ports (25&26) of a Nexus 2010 N7K-M132XP-12 card. I have followed the steps on CCO (install feature-set, activate feature-set, port-channel and interface config.) to the letter. I have also made sure that my transceiver is supported, when in fact, the transceiver used to be plugged into an N5K and worked beautifully. But I still get the error: "Configuration does not match the port capability" when I try to do the command "switchport mode fex-fabric" on the individual ports. But what's worse, It has gotten the fex serial number and type, but refuses to bring it on-line.

Can you post the port config (25 and 26) and the port-channel?

Okay, I see the problem.

FEX Fabric under the port capabilities said it is not supported. And according from the EPLD version, you are not running the minimum EPLD version to support FEX:
Please see the following link on how to install EPLD. Also, installing EPLD is discrupted because it will reload a LC:
