I've got a Nexus 5548 with a L3 daughter card. It's directly connected to a VLAN that hosts our logging server. It can ping the logging server, and the logging server can SNMP query the nexus. However the nexus isn't logging to our syslog server. It has a logging statement
logging server 10.10.10.40
However it reports This server is temporarily unreachable
I would normally set the logging source to a vlan interface, but it doesn't take that command.
