I have a pair of Nexus 7010's that I am having inconsistent CDP results with.
I have a Management port on the Admin VDC that I can see the switch that it is connected in CDP (a Cisco 3750), however on the 3750 side I can see the Nexus for a short amount of time as the nexus appears to send 1 CDP packet and then nothing. If I reset the interface, I will see one more CDP packet sent and the Nexus will appear in the CDP table on the 3750 until it times out.
I have nexus 1kv's with one connected to a vdc and another 1kv that is connected to a different vdc, only 1 vdc shows the 1kv??

Does the 3750 have other neighbors that are not Nexus series? If yes, does CDP work with no issues?

it does and it works fine.
The Nexus does show up on the 3750, but only shortly. I can do a "show cdp traffic interface eX/X" on the nexus and see that no packets are being sent after the 1st one. If I reset the interface another cdp packet is sent, but only 1.

I have the same scenario. I will check from the 3750 to neighboring Nexus 7ks and 5ks on Monday and let you know.
It maybe an OS issue on the 7k side.

reza, did you have a chance to look?

Sorry for a very late replay. I did check the 3750 CDP table a few times and did not absorb the issue you have. Never saw the 3750's neighbors disappear.

Anyone else seeing these issues? Is this still present in 6.1.3?
