Sup 32 support for CEF 256

It is mentionned in the Datasheet that the supervisor 32, support line card using the shared bus and CEF256. But further in the doc we see that this sup does only have the shared bus. Does tha mean that CEF256 card are support only with the shared bus or we can still use the SFM blade to support them at full speed?

It is true that the Supervisor 32 supports line card using shared bus and CEF256. But i think it is backward compatible with the SFM as well. So you could try using SFM blade with the Supervisor 32.

Hi,

According to the Supervisor 32 FAQ, the Sup32 doesn't support the SFM. It does support CEF256 modules, but it only appears to be at 'classic' speeds.
