I have a couple of questions regarding the following equipment. Supervisor engine 2 part # WS-X6K-SUP2-2GE. The switch load meter does not appear to work. Is there some configuration that needs to added/changed to make it work on the active engine? If so where is it and how do I enable it? How does one connect to the active sup2 engine?

Perhaps you misunderstand what the switch load meter is. Its the current switch load across the backplane, which depending on how you interpret that can be anywhere from 32Gbps (from the Sup2 docs) to 720Gbps on a 6513... Even 1% of those number can be quite a bit of data, so odds are your gauges are working, you just aren't using even 1% of the backplane.
