Vcenter server change - N1KV ?

Hi

We are coming up with an effort to change the Vcenter server to physical to virtual. Is it a best practice to keep the same IP address on the Vcenter server -> shut the physical and bring the virtual up, to keep the SVS config consistent on N1KVs ? Will the DVS UUID automatically propagated incase the MAC/UUID changes with the new VM server ?

Is it also possible to run 2 Vcenter servers parallel, and migrate the servers to the new Vcenter servers ? If so, can we have 2 IPs on SVS Configuration ?

We completed this ...

It did work good. Virtualized the Vcenter (P to V) .. shutdown the old physical server.. bring the virtual UP with the same IP.. UUID automatically got updated.. everything worked perfect...
