we have an issue of packets dropped by a device when traffic is passed though ASA. Did capture at source host, destination host and on ingress/egress interface on ASA. we are seeing same retransmission on all 4 captures. A TCP-FIN is not ack by destination host, which is retransmitted and seen on all packets. Can we conclude the destination host is the problem ? device driver in destination is the culprit ?

So the packet captures shows the destination host has received the TCP FIN, but no ACK is being transmitted?
If so, then it is definitely the destination host.
Does it do this for all TCP connections, or just this one connection?
You could try upgrading the device driver, but there is not sufficient evidence to conclude that it is the device driver. If you upgraded the device driver and the issue went away then you could say it was highly likely to be the device driver.

looks like a driver issue. After removing the device driver everything is fine. Spends couple of days for this.
