Bridge mode config for old SRP527W

Is there anyone still using a SRP527W in bridge mode for an ADSL link using DSL port. Followed the steps in https://supportforums.cisco.com/t5/small-business-support-documents/srp-feature-configuration-guide-adsl-bridge-mode/ta-p/3112244 however did not work for us.

We have configured for RFC 1483 Bridged EoA and enabled PPPoE relay as per the steps however when we pass through PPPoE connection info via connected firewall it fails. We confirmed PPPoE details are correct by configuring the same PPPoE details on SRP527W the connection works. 

Anyone have experience with this and steps/troubleshooting to get working?

Gotta love it when you answer your own forum post. Applying the static IP address of 1.1.1.1 to the Internet Setup for SRP527W did the trick - how did I miss that.
