On November 14th, Cisco has released the maintenance firmware 2.1.71 for the SA500 Series product. The new firmware addresses some of bugs that have been reported by our customers. It is recommended that customers experiencing problems with their SA500 Series product upgrade to this firmware release.
Important issue that has been fixed in this release:
- CSCts83406: LuaSQL library routine called out of sequence
Enhancements have been included in this release
- Passwords are save in encrypted format in the configuration file
- Support for 802.1q VLAN tagging over WAN interfaces with PPPoE
- PPPoE Reset Scheduler used to reset the PPPoE/L2TP/PPTP connection for a specific day or time
