The UC500 Early Adopter Software Pack 7.0(1) is bundled with IOS release 12.4(20)T1a. This is an engineering special IOS image that addresses defects: CSCsqq07606 CSCsu97476 CSCsu88745. This is a limited time release and upgrade to 12.4(20)T2 is mandatory once available. The IOS release 12.4(20)T2 is planned to be released with Manufacturing Software Pack 7.0(2)

Remote Teleworker
The SBCS solutions can support remote teleworkers with remote extensions. In this scenario, small business owners can interact with their business from home with secure data, voice, and video, giving them flexibility for when and how they communicate with employees, suppliers, and customers. A maximum of 5 users are supported per Remote Teleworker site. The link below contains further details:

Analog Voice Gateways
The SBCS Solution can be integrated with the Cisco SPA8000 and the Cisco VG224 Voice Gateway. Each one offers distinct advantages. Both provide additional FXS ports that can be used to support legacy analog phones or faxes, while offering a smooth transition into IP Telephony.

Upgrade your network with wireless! Cisco SBCS wireless products make it easy to set up and manage your wireless network so employees can stay connected wherever they need to work--at their desks, in conference rooms, or on the warehouse floors. You can also offer secure guest access to visitors.
The 8- and 16-user models of the Cisco Unified Communications 500 Series support an optional integrated WLAN access point for secure WLAN connectivity. As part of the Cisco Smart Business Communications System, the Cisco Unified 500 Series also supports external access points-the Cisco 521 Wireless Express Access Point-and for best-in-class wireless mobility the Cisco 526 Wireless Express Mobility Controller can be added to create a unified system of access points. Small businesses can easily extend access to data applications as well as WLAN telephony. Wireless services allow greater mobility for employees, partners, and customers, resulting in increased productivity.
Note: The 32- and 48-user models of the Cisco Unified Communications 500 Series do not support an optional integrated WLAN access point. These models can use the Cisco 521 Wireless Express Access Point and the Cisco 526 Wireless Express Mobility Controller to enable WLAN functions.
