New software releases have advanced features for network devices. The performance of a network device can be enhanced when used with upgraded software. This article explains how to upgrade the software on the C20 TelePresence System.
Step 1. Log in to the web configuration utility and choose Maintenance > Software Upgrade. The Software Upgrade page opens:
Note: Obtain the release and option key from authorized Cisco resellers or partners first before following the procedure.
Step 2. Release keys are for full version software upgrades or downgrades. Click the Add button to add the release key. The format of the key is xXXxxx-x-xXxxXxxx. Each key is unique for a system and only works for that particular device where 'x' is a number and 'X' is a capital letter.
Step 3. Option keys activates add-on product options purchased after initial product purchase. Click the Add button to add the option key. The format of the key is xXxxx-x-XXxXxXxx. Each key is unique for a system and only works for that particular device where 'x' is a number and 'X' is a capital letter. xXxxx-x-XXxXxXxx
• Natural presenter — Allows the administrator to bring presentations to life using PCs, cameras, streaming and video.
• Premium resolution — Maximize call speed up to 4Mbps and live streaming resolution up to 720p30.
• High definition — Provides a higher resolution to the administrator than a standard resolution during a video call.
• Dual display — Increases the area available for programs to run on a single system.
Note: If the administrator has more than one option key, add the rest of the keys one by one.
Step 4. Click Browse to browse the firmware file from the PC that administrator wants to upgrade and select it.
Step 5. Click Upgrade. Allow the upgrade to be completed. When the upgrade is finished, a successful upgrade message appears.
