Background:

Earlier this month updates were made to the Cisco systems that support the Smart Net Total Care service. Most of the implementation has been successful however, some additional changes are required to fully enable the systems.

 

Impact:

Remote upgrades of CSPC software (either by CLI or GUI upgrade button) are not working properly. Customers trying to upgrade CSPC software remotely are likely to see errors such as credential validation failures, authentication problems, or errors during attempted download.

 

Workaround:

Customers can upgrade the CSPC software manually by downloading the latest software from cisco.com. Manual upgrade steps are detailed in the CSPC Upgrade Guide.

 

Fix:

The CSPC development team is working on a resolution. Further details will be shared once the fix is completed. Meanwhile, if you have questions or need additional information, please ask your question in this community.
