Cant't access EWC 9800 on C9115AXI after reset to Factory default

Hi together,

seems I am doing something wrong. Any clue "what" would be very appreciated.

I had several problems with the WiFi so I doubted the settings and performed a reset to factory defaults. Initially from the menu in the EWC, later by the mode button.

Starting from first reset I couldn't access the EWC any more. When entering the IP address assigned to the EWC, I am redirected to https://mywifi.cisco.com/ with the error message that the connection to the server failed.

I tried with Edge, Firefox on Linux and Brave on Linux - always the same result.

Hardware: Catalyst C9115AXI-E, software updated to 17.8.0.144 beginning of may.

Thanks in advance for any help,

HP

Hi after fiddling around with various possible login names and the serial number of the AP as password without success I was happy to find an article stating webui - cisco as a valuable combination.

Hi

 It is mobility express?

If you reset to factory default, you should see the SSID  "Cisco AirProvision"

Hi Flavio, many thanks for your help-offer.

I do not think it's mobility express - there should be a full EWC, 9800 build in.

Yes I can see the SSID "Cisco AirProvision"

Yes, I can connect with the given credentials in your link

Unfortunately the connection to 192.168.1.1 times out after a while so I can't get the login screen of the AP. I tried wit firefox, even reconfigured the security settings of the browser to "standard" for the repeated trial.

What can I try next?

Kind regards HP

Hi together,

In the meanwhile - lease don't ask what I have changed in my endless trials - logged into the SSID "Cisco AirProvision" I get redirected to the webui login page. Due to the confusion of all the reading I had done I do not get the webui's credentials right. Could you please give the hint to success?
