I've been searching to see if these devices have a monitoring API if they're not managed by DNA Center. Anyone know? Thanks

Not that i am aware of - below statement from cisco.
The only network monitoring supported on the Embedded Wireless Controller is through Cisco Digital Network Architecture (DNA) Center. This is done through NETCONF using a propietary protocol for push and pull of configuration or status information.
by the way what Monitor you looking ?

Thanks. This is what I needed. So, customers should use DNA Center if they want to be able to monitor EWC in a supported way.

This makes it sound like one could interact directly with the Access Point via NETCONF?
