When researching SD-Access, the most referenced guide seems to be the Cisco SD-Access Solution Design Guide (CVD), which is over 4 years old. This seems outdated for a technology with so much hype and marketing. The same goes for the Software-Defined Access for Distributed Campus Deployment Guide which is even 5 years old. Why aren’t these documents updated? Do they still include the latest recommendations and design approaches? If starting from scratch, would you recommend these guides?
I know there are new Cisco Live presentations and some "validated profiles," but is the SD-Access Solution Guide still the number one resource with valid information?
Kind Regards and thanks in advance
Tony

Hi,
These CVDs haven't changed in years, because they were well written and haven't required changes/updates.
They are still valid today and you can follow those.
Hope that helps.
