New Linecard inserted in the fabric Edge(9410) - missing configuration

Hi team, anyone who has had an experience with adding additional linecard to Cat 9400? We're experiencing missing port configuration (no configuration on the port at all), so I'm just wondering if the only option to re-configure "new" ports is to removing the device from the fabric and putting it back in?

Anyone with practical experience ?

Imrich

Thanks a lot Kristof.

We did it in Host Onboarding, manually selecting ports and assigning them authentication template and connected device type.

That did a trick for us.

Anyway thanks all for your help.

How to Ask The Cisco Community for Help

Hi Balaji, thanks for the response.

We've done the re-sync, re-provision(even though not really needed) but did not help. The card is recognised by the switch so I would not see the issue there.

Looks like the same behaviour as with switch stacks

If you add a unit in the stack and sync, the ports on the new unit remain unconfigured.

I do copy/paste the port config manually in CLI, never had issues with that.
