I'm looking at upgrading this box and have two questions:

1. Are the cards hot pluggable?

2. I currently have other cards in the box and wondered if there is a sequence they need to be installed? Currently there are (2) 32 port 1 GB cards and a 16 port card (1-2 GB) will be installed in the next avail slot.

Yes, the blades are hot-swappable. There is not a required sequence the hardware needs to be inserted to the chassis. Just give the blades about 5 minutes to come up after inserting them. Be aware the non-standard FC blades such as the CSM, ASM, etc require certain levels of SAN-OS.
