Alias Rename Not Saving

Hi,

I am trying to rename a device alias on and MDS 9000 series SAN Core Switch in Fabric Manager. When I click on it to make the change, it takes it. Then I save it. When I exit out and come back in, the change is new name change reverts back to the original.

When I change the name, the new name is bolded so I know it's a case where a change has been made but not applied.

Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?

Is it the same from the CLI? Do you get prompted to save the changes when

you exit Fabric Manager?

Switch#show device-alias pending-diff
