Hi, We have been using callhome to obtain port down conditions for many years. When we went from NX-OS 4.2(3) TO NX-OS 5.2(6) we are no longer getting any emails. We now have a real need to get these alerts.
portshow destination profile information
maximum message size:4000
message format:short-txt
message-level:0
transport-method:email
email addresses configured:
<email_address>
url addresses configured:
alert groups configured:
syslog-group-port
message-level 0 is suppose to be send all alerts
You can see we are getting messages in the log... but nothing comes in email.

We know callhome is setup properly because we are getting the RMON alerts and test messages come through correctly.
Anyone else experience this? Can anyone help?
