I'm guessing no - based on the datasheet at:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/ps4159/ps6409/ps5987/ps10703/data_sheet_c78-571411.pdf
as the data sheet says it supports
8/4/2Gbps DS-SFP-FC8G-SW
4/2/1Gbps DS-SFP-FC4G-SW
We have some 2G SFPs laying around (Cisco Part number 10-1821-01 ) -
but according to the 9148 Q&A
"Q. Will an 8-Gbps enhanced optical transceiver (SFP+) auto-sense down to 1-Gbps?
A. No, 2-Gbps is the lowest an 8-Gbps SFP+ optical transceiver will auto-sense down to. To support 1G-bps FC connections, a standard 4-Gbps SFP must be used."
So that makes me think the 2G SFP won't work either..
Confirmation?
Thanks in advance.
