We have some 2G SFPs laying around (Cisco Part number 10-1821-01 ) -
but according to the 9148 Q&A
"Q. Will an 8-Gbps enhanced optical transceiver (SFP+) auto-sense down to 1-Gbps?
A. No, 2-Gbps is the lowest an 8-Gbps SFP+ optical transceiver will auto-sense down to. To support 1G-bps FC connections, a standard 4-Gbps SFP must be used."
So that makes me think the 2G SFP won't work either..
Confirmation?
