Cannot setup SAN port channel with Brocade

Hi All,

I need your help!! this is my first time i am configuring Cisco UCS in infra and don't have in-depth knowledge about it.I am trying to make port-channel between Cisco UCS & Brocade FC SAN switch, FC ports are going into error-disable mode when putting them in Port-channel and when i unbind them then FC's work fine.

I searched it on Cisco & Brocade and found the SAN port channel is Cisco proprietary. You cannot setup SAN port channel with Brocade.

Is there something which i am missing? Is there any way/configuration so that i can get the port-channel kind of output?

Hi Bhisham

Port-channel between UCS FI and a Brocade is not supported; this would only be possible if you have a MDS and/or N5k.

UCS FI in FC end host mode allows you to setup one or more links between a UCS FI and a Brocade. Round Robin happens between all the links for outgoing connections.
