I am trying to connect a SAN switch to a storage but the Switch is not recognizing the SFP from storage. Are there any compatiility issues?

Don't understand; do you have problems with the SFP on the MDS, or the peer side on the storage controller side ?

Hi,
part number is 1-2053783-2
type is SFP-H10GB-CU3M
This is a copper 10G Ethernet cable.
Use one of these SFPs:

Are you sure this is a FC SFP ? 4, 8 G ?
If yes, try to use the "service unsupported-transceiver" which is a hidden command (type the full command, no abbreviation).
