Hi Henry,

Can you provide some more info on the issue? What are you configuring when you see this error?

Thanks!

Carlo

Following the guide however the fcoe service will not start in the storage vdc

see error below

Default_VDC_SW01-FCOE_SAN_NETAPP#  [34D [J
Default_VDC_SW01-FCOE_SAN_NETAPP# sh vlan fcoe

Service not enabled

Default_VDC_SW01-FCOE_SAN_NETAPP#  [34D [J
Default_VDC_SW01-FCOE_SAN_NETAPP# sh vlan fcoe

Service not enabled

Default_VDC_SW01-FCOE_SAN_NETAPP#  [34D [J
Default_VDC_SW01-FCOE_SAN_NETAPP# sh vlan fcoe

Service not enabled

Have you installed the feature-set fcoe in the default vdc?

After doing this, the feature-set needs to be installed in the fcoe vdc.

Let me know if this worked. If not, you might have to include a bit more on your current config.

Hi Carlo,

installed the feature yes, but apparenely if you create the stoarge vdc first this breaks the install ?

Cheers

Henry

logs below

feature       feature-set

Default_VDC_SW01# sh feature-set

Feature Set Name      ID        State

--------------------  --------  --------

fcoe                   1          installed

fabricpath             2          uninstalled

fex                    3          uninstalled

mpls                   4          uninstalled

Default_VDC_SW01#

I would have to test this, not 100%. Can you include a 'show vdc' and a 'show feature-set' <-- from fcoe vdc

There are couple of bugs which we might be hitting, CSCty88696 and CSCtl66888. we are working on getting the release note populated for these issues as they are new issues which we have found wrt N7k FCoE.
