Hi, I am maintaining MDS9148, MDS9148S and MDS9132T.
As far as I know, there is no EOL impact for the issue you mentioned.
So there is no problem adding disks using SAN.

Hi Ronnelcompayan.
It does not have any influence on the Initiator side, as long as the Target (SAN) is still supporting the EOL drive, there is no issue.
Kind Regards,
Joost.

Thank you sir. I wanna ask if adding new disk(new disk pool) on the storage array and deploying new host will necessary to create new zone? As of now we encounter issue host cannot communicate the storage. The MDS 9148s existing zoning configuration is port-based. It would be appreciated for me your insights, sir.

When there is a new host, you have to create a new zone, or put it in the same zone (If allowed.)
