I am investigating purchasing MDS9148T SAN switches to replace some existing MDS9148 SAN switches that currently run NX-OS 6.2(1). My migration plan is simple. Configure an ISL link between the switches and move the UCS and storage array connections over a two month period. The new MDS9148T switches will probably be running NX-OS 8.4(1) while the old MDS9148 will be running NX-OS 6.2(1). I want to know if their are any compatibility issues with these versions having merged fabrics.
