I've been reviewing an MDS configuration guide called "Configuring System Security and AAA Services" (http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/ps4159/ps4358/products_configuration_guide_chapter09186a00801ba21d.html)
In one area in says: "For each management path (console or Telnet and SSH), you can enable only one of three optionslocal, RADIUS, or none. The option can be different for each path."
My question is: What is the difference between "Local" and "None" authentication. Seems like that "None" is actually a form of local authentication, but I'm not sure what that is.
