Hi Everyone,
I have a Cisco MDS 9148 switch on which i have connected some ESXi hosts, one hba of the ESXi host is failed. Is there a way to find the port number in which the failed HBA was connected. sh fcs database and sh floggi database show up only connected and online ports.
In brocade i used to find this out with nsdevlog command. Any similar commands that will help me find the port number of the disconnected WWPNs in Cisco?
I have the WWPN, need to find to which port it was connected before failure..

Hi Ram,
Please try this:
show fcdomain fcid persistent unused vsan <vsan id>
show fcdomain fcid persistent vsan <vsan id>
Though this will need persistent fcid config enabled.
