Hi.
Anybody knows logging files format in a MDS9000 switch?
We want to pick up them (besides another kind of syslog from other types of machines) in a syslog server and we need to know how parse it to keep.
Can anybody send me a syslog file (sent from a MDS 9000) as it is received on a syslog server?
Thanks. Loli

you can configure MDS Switch to send Logs - what level of Syslog depends on business requirement and kind of Syslog server capacity.
https://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/storage/san_switches/mds9000/sw/san-os/system/message/Intro.html
Once the Logs received in the Syslog log file, you can do with the data what every format and make a script to send reports.
