MDS 9148S 12 Port License

So the 9148S comes with 12-port base model. Does this mean any 12 ports can be used, or just the first 12?

The base switch model comes with 12 ports enabled, and can be upgraded as needed with the 12-port Cisco MDS 9148S On-Demand Port Activation license to support configurations of 24, 36, or 48 enabled ports

Any 12 ports can be used.

This parameter is needed to enable the port with corresponding license:

port-license acquire
