Hi Team

We have one module in our Cisco MDS9513 director as below with bootflash state "suspended"

Module  ; DS-X9248-96k9

Switch MDS 9513 ( 13 Slot )

Firmware : 5.0(4b )

Is there any online way to change the bootflash status back to "running  " without reseating the module  ??

Appreciate your quick response in this regard

Test                    Frequency       Status          Action

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Bootflash                10 Sec         Suspended       Enabled

EOBC                      5 Sec         Running         Enabled

Loopback                  5 Sec         Running         Enabled

Tcam                      1 Day         Running         Enabled

Hi Anand,

This is an indication that bootflash has failed on the line card and the line card should be replaced.

If the line card is up now and you reseat/reload it, I would expect the next state to be "powered down" because the line card can not load the firmware.   You should leave it as is until you can get it replaced.

Best regards,

Jim
