HI,
I'm new to the world of Cisco MDS fabric switches. I am interested in hearing what the experienced users like to save and document for disaster recovery purposes. Our environment consists of two fabrics each with a single 9148S switch. Since the configs can't be saved across the fabric, I gather I'll want to copy the switch configuration to a remote server. I'd also be interested in automating this. Are there any other best practices that people would be willing to share?
My apologies if I missed a previous posting on this topic.
Thanks!

if you are using DCNM you can configure it to make backups of your switch config. Or you can use built-in MDS scheduler to tftp/scp/ftp your config to an external server.

Thanks. We are in fact a DCNM shop, so I'll definitely look in to that.
