Mds: how can i add fcdomain

I do'nt know what to do next after I created a zone

Membered it to a zoneset and activate it. When i tried "show flogi database" the new bays i added are not there.

What did i miss? How do i assign fcdomain, fcids to my bays?

Hi Paulo,

The blades show up in the flogi database after they have logged into the fabric.

You do not assign fcdomain or fcids, this is done by the switch when the blades

login to the fabric.  Not enough information to say why this is not occuring.

Maybe you need to reboot them?

Hi Paulo,

Primarily you do not need Zonning to see your Blades in FLOGI database, Zone are required for actual communication.

FCIDs are assigned automatically after successful register with fabric. I think if you do not se you blade in database it is something to do with fabric register. Please provide some more info like if this is new implementation or you are adding extra blades ?
