Nexus 5596UP showing some npiv ports on different VSAN

STORAGEADMIN
Level 1
Level 1

As you can see some npiv ports show different vsan ( 1 instead of 10 ) .

Those ports showed on vsan 1 are zoned to a Pure Storage and are they do not get logged to the Pure Storage Controllers, I think this is because Pure Storage Ports are on Vsan 10.

Any help on this will be appreciated.

Thanks,

Hi,

At a high level, for devices to see each other here, they need to be:

(1)On the same fabric ( could be one switch or more switches that are connected together via ISL ) and logged in.

(2)In the same VSAN ( No IVR ( inter-vsan routing ) her )

(3)Zoned together ( if default-zone permit is set to deny ( best practice ))

Best regards,

Jim
