There is a large and growing fan in from our VMware environment into the nexus 5000. The nexus is setup as an access gateway and it’s uplink to the SAN (DCX8510) consists of two 8G ISLs. More ISLs could be added but this would not solve the essence of our concerns – the fact that there is a huge bottleneck with no possibility of load balancing.
Currently there are 30 VMware hosts (approx. 600 virtual servers) sharing two x 8G.
Does anyone have good idea's how to solve this bottleneck?
