I have MDS 9513 switches with port-channels to 5k switches connecting the SAN to our UCS environment. I'm running dcnm performance monitor but so far I can't get any statistics on these port-channels (I have a case open w/support). I don't have access to anything but the MDS switches which appears to be my issue w/dcnm.
I'm looking to log some numbers over time to get me some Idea of the traffic on these port-channels. So far all I've come up with is to ssh to the switch from a Linux box run ""sho interface counters brief" >file and then grep/awk my way to the port-channel MB/s counts.
Any better ideas ?
