Hello,
We have MDS 9706 Supervisor-1 (Core) with 9148T (Edge). This is new installation.
Now 9706 running on 8.2(1) and 9148T on 8.3(1).
We going to install the latest recommended version, before put it into production.
According to this article recomended version for 9706 is 8.1(1a) but this version from feb 2018, almost 2 years old.
Here it is written that all versions till 8.4(1a) supported on both platform.
Could you pls clarify:
1. Should we upgrade 9706 to the latest 8.4(1a), especially now we have version greater than recomended?
2. Should we upgrade 9148T to 8.4(1a)?
Our Cisco support contract starts in 1 months, so we cannot open case and request for support now.
