Removal of zoneset from MDS 9100

Hi

We removed the zoneset for a particular vSAN id and then created a new zoneset for that VSAN (saved the changes by copy run start). When we run show zoneset, it's shwoing only the newly created zoneset, but with show run it's showing up both the zonesets. Later once we activated the newly created zoneset, with show run it's showing only teh newly created active zoneset. Is this behaviour normal or we missed some command after removing the active zoneset?

Hi,

"Show zoneset" only shows the full zoning database.

The running configuration contains both the full zone database and a copy of the active zoning database.

Per VSAN you could have multiple zonests (called full zoneset), but only one active zoneset !
