Greetings,
We're considering replacing our MDS 9124 with a Nexus 5k (specifically the 5548UP). Would we have any issues using the nexus as our san director?
Also, does the nexus 5548UP support running FCoE and Ethernet over the same 10 Gb wire like the 5010 and 5020's do? Can the new F1 series line cards on the Nexus 7k do that as well?

Hi Joshua,
The N5k does everything the 9124 does, and adds FCoE and iSCSI connectivity. The MDS9124 doesn't have IVR, and the N5k doesn't either.
