UCS FCoE Direct Attach with 5K for Zoning

I have a UCS 6248 directly attached to a VNX 5700 over FCoE using a Nexus 5548 for zoning. I have the 4 Storage ports configured as FCoE Storage Ports and the FC as a unified port. My problem right now is I have no flogi activity on the 5K, but flogi looks right on the 6248's. Does anybody know of a configuration guide for this scenario, or have any ideas on why this might be happening?

if array is plugged-in to 6248 you are not going to see flogi on 5k, they are local to the switch it's connected to. Do you see them on 5k when you run "sh fcns database" ?

From 2.1, UCSM supports zoning for direct attach arrays.

Why don't you uplink the 6248s to the 5K and then uplnk the 5700 to the 5K as well. This is the only way you are going to see flogi on the 5K. Then you can have the 5K handle all of you zoning.
