We are upgrading from 4x MDS 9396S to 4x MDS 9396T, I have created a few high-level steps, please validate if the steps make sense as this is the first time I am migrating a cisco switch, or is there a standard recommended by Cisco, I understand in Brocade when the new switch has a cleared config is connected with E port and a unique domain ID, the existing config gets copied over from old to new, do we  have a similar procedure in Cisco, because the step 5 refers to Migrate zoning and this task can be time consuming if done manually and prone to errors.

1. Document/inventory config and cabling
2. Backup running-config and zoning
3. Rack and power on 9396T switches and make sure it has the supported firmware
4. Set domain ID, VSANs, interfaces on the MDS 9396T
5. Migrate zoning
6. Connect to test hosts/storage and verify FLOGI
7. Gradually migrate live hosts to 9396T
8. Monitor SAN health and path redundancy
9. Decommission and un-rack 9396S switches
