Hi - I'm trying to connect to an SG200-08 in order to disable the Energy Saver options (for audio networking) but I cannot access the web admin interface to do so. I've attempted to connect to this admin interface via multiple browsers, its machine and iMac and also a Windows machine. Nothing connects. I tried the default IP, I've tried the IP iMac network settings tells me for "router". I tried the IP Windows gave it when I was on that machine, everything times out. On Windows that came with a connection refused code. I've reset the switch to factory default. As it sits most often the default IP is not in use, as the power indicator stays on solid (which matches system prefs). I've been through this in Terminal pinging and netstat -r 'ing everything under the sun with a well capable (and MENSA member) network admin and we didn't get there. If anyone can help that'd be SO awesome. I don't know what else to do. Thanks!

SOLVED it myself lol.
Step 1: turn off Wifi thereby eliminating an DHCP serving.
Step 2: Set Ethernet connection to manual, added IP as last that Wifi router served this machine, added default switch IP 192.168.1.254.
Step 3: reboot switch.
Works now.
