Hi All,
I have here a Cisco SG200 - 26P switch..i'm experiencing intermittent ping between VLANs ...host A in vlan 303, host B vlan 319, host C in vlan 319.
intermittent ping from host A to host B
ping ok Host B to host C.
Is there anyway to resolve this problem?
Thanks.

Hi
sg200s are layer 2 switches , sg300s are the layer3 version so the routing should not be performed by this sg200 switch, the vlans should only be created at layer 2 and then a default gateway should be applied to the switch pointing to the layer 3 device depending on what that is , a router or layer 3 switch

Hi Mark,
Yes there is router at back end where the switch is connected....the config works fine on the first week after installation, just recently this problem occurs.
Thanks.

Hi,
what about pings from hosts to his gateway? Perhaps you have a bad cable.
