Hi.
I have a SG500-28 28-Port Gigabit Stackable Managed Switch from 3 weeks, but I'm afraid it's broken.
Users tell me: sometimes mssql is slow, sometimes the browser is slow.
I do test. Connected only 3 PC to the switch.
I sent 3x ping to the IP switch (192.168.1.196) from each PC (win10):
ping 192.168.1.196 -t -l 65000
and have a loss of packages of 15-20%. The switch has a bandwidth of 72Gb / s. I think : 65kB*9 should not a overload. the switch is this broken?
When only 1 ping works, all is fine.
Firmware is 1.4.2.4. I raised them to 1.4.8.6, but nothing changed, still losing the packages. Jumboframe is disabled.
Please tell me, switch is broken?

Hello,
My name is Rozana and i am an engineer from the Small Business Team.
We need to troubleshoot the issue further to determine what is happening in your network.
I think it would be best if you call our SBSC support lines, so we can open a support ticket and troubleshoot the issue.
If we determine that the device is indeed faulty we can replace it for you.
Regards.
