We have several SRW2048 switches which are running OK - however one of them is logging the same error several times every minute.
The error is :-
04-09-2014 15:50:05 Local7.Warning 192.168.0.20 %UPNP-W-DBOVERFLOW: UPnP retransmission DB overflow.
I've done some research and seen that other people have the same issue, but the response from Cisco seems to be "it's normal" or "reset the switch"
I find it hard to believe that this is expected behaviour - especially as resetting the switch makes the problem go away for a short while. It's only happening on one of the switches, which happens to be the one that all of our servers are connected to, so I'm concerned that it may be adversely affecting the performance.
Are there any suggestions as to what can be done to rectify the issue, apart from 'ignore' or 'reset'?
Thanks
Michael
