1811 router SPAN

Hi All,

Does 1811 router with 8 switch port supports SPAN on switch ports?

IOS Version 12.4(6)T7,

When i enter the commands it accpets without any error message. Just want to confirm before applying it to a production enviroment.

1811(config)#monitor session 1 source interface fastEthernet 7 both
1811#sh monitor session 1
Session 1

Source Ports:
    RX Only:       None
    TX Only:       None
    Both:          Fa7
Source VLANs:
    RX Only:       None
    TX Only:       None
    Both:          None

Hi,

Its supported on 1811 running 15.0(1)M Advanced IP services.

And it will support in IOS Version 12.4(6)T7 also it seems.

Hi,

Yes, the command is accepted. This can be verified by issuing 'show mon session session_id' (just like what yuu did)
